FAQ
1. How are NFC tags different from RFID?
---- RFID is a broad term that covers many different types of chip and antenna combinations. The radio frequencies, reading distance and data encoding methods of the chip can vary enormously. NFC Tags on the other hand are very well defined and specified by the NFC forum, but can be considered as a special form of RFID strict specifications that allow them to be used in an open context.
2. What are the parameters to affect the Price of A card or Tag ?
--- First and foremost, the chip brand contributes to the cost level. For example, the original MIFARE and compatible one has price difference highly, as well as other compatible chips from other companies.
Besides, the PVC raw material is also essential for card quality, which affects the cost level of whole card. If the card cost is much lower than market level, you are supposed to pay attention if they use the recycle material to save the cost.
Last and but not the least, the procurement of card production will cause some defective rate, such as chip function defective, punching location un-accurate, surface scratching, even the dirty etc.
All the above aspects will have an impact for you to select a high-quality card.
